Workout in your house

How can a person keep on with her new resolutions of workout regularly and keeping fit with the help of her house gymnasium? The answer I found that worked great for me is quite simple: I need to get my mind off the fact that I am workout. I know many trainers will say you should focus on the exercises you are doing and look at yourself in the mirror to correct your posture while you workout, etc. If I do that, only focus on the exercises and push myself, I feel like stopping after ten to fifteen minutes into my exercise routine.
On the other hand, when I am in my house gym and exercising on the machines, I don’t mind workout for more than half an hour if I am listening to my self-hypnosis recordings.

What worked the best for me though was when I exercised while watching a movie. I can then go on for an hour and a half to two hours of exercising without feeling like I am forcing myself to do so. I even watched the movie Titanic entirely while exercising. So, the most important piece of equipment in my own home gymnasium is my television set.
The problem I have is that even though I put the movie sound very loud, the workout machines are making a lot of noise. I bought some wireless headphones but I guess they were of poor quality (although I paid them a good price) because I hear a lot of distortion and they are just not good enough.
